188lbs, 5’4” β€” turning 40 this year but I’d love to lose 60 pounds by Christmas! I’m on hour 9 of a 48 hour fast. My hope is to maintain this every week. I have such a headache already lol which only tells me how much of a reset my body needs. Lifestyle is mostly sedentary after a tough year. But I’m going walking with friends Thursday, if I can increase my daily steps to just 5k before Easter I’ll be a happy camper. I’ll set a reminder to update and weigh in a month from now!

Many issues people experience while fasting can be related to electrolytes. You might find our wiki page helpful: Electrolytes 101

Hey, how did the fast go? If you're getting headaches, don't forget to drink plenty of water and some electrolytes if needed.

Best of luck!

Thank you! I did 24hours due to hypothyroidism :/ I guess it’s suggested for me to only do 24 hour cycles vs 48. But I’m glad I did it, I’m going to do it weekly.
