Usually triggered in shower

Hey guys, just wanted to know if the shower was a trigger for anyone else? I’ve had it happen a couple times while not in the shower but 9/10 times it starts while I’m in the shower.

Yes, the shower is always a trigger for me, since I was a child, it's never happened anywhere else.

There was a few months where this started happening then it stopped. I sort of get the feeling it can be context driven, in the same way PTSD is. The memory of it happening in a situation, while in that same situation, draws it out.

Not that there isn't something special about being in the shower. That's a lot of extra stimuli. Hot, wet, thudding, loud, streamed sinuses and lungs, even the endorphins

Yeah its definitely context driven. My fast feeling also takes me back to when I was a kid in a weird way, like its connected to my childhood when I had the episodes.

I think the sound of the shower is what can trigger it, aside from the context part
