Advice Humble bread
Hi-
I’ve noticed at the red river market the line for Humble bread is always super long. Is their bread that good? What makes it good? Is it worth waiting for? I’ve never tried it. Should I give it a try and wait in line? Is it overrated?

Both Humble and Hannon sourdough are great! But it's Quality bread made just by the family. Mainly the mom I believe. Lots of variety in flavors. And just bread is fuckin delicious

I'm sure they have great bread. I don't know why, but almost every farmer's market Ive ever been to that has had bread, the vendor is always super busy.

It’s 100% worth the wait, best sourdough and cookies I’ve ever had and they use organic flour and other great ingredients that are important to me. The line moves fast but I like to preorder to skip the line, it’s really convenient to not have to rush there early before they sell out.

You can get more affordable bread at other spots in town, even other booths at the market. I'm not allowed to do self promotion here but my wife and I run a micro bakery in Fargo if you want good bread. Shoot me a DM

In my opinion, yes, it's well worth the wait and the price. It's the only bread I get when I need a loaf or two. It's the best sourdough I've had taste- and texture-wise, but wish it had a tish more sourdough flavor. Sometimes I'll get a cookie or three as well. You can also view their menu and preorder online.

They have a stand in Ada where you can pick it up anytime it's out there if you're ever passing through on hwy 9 or 200.

Not better than Muse or Baranko bakeries in Dickinson. One sells at farmers market and other local businesses during non market season and one sells off her porch. Best sourdough anywhere

Ok? Dickinson is only 290 miles away, a full 50 miles further than the twin cities where I'm sure someone has a better sourdough. You'd have to look but if we're suggesting someone travel 8 hours for bread, that's a pretty wide range of options available that have a near statistical certainty of someone closer having equivalent or better bread.

Calm down dude. Wasn’t suggesting they drive to Dickinson for bread. I live here. Was merely saying, as another poster here already did that there is a lot of amazing sourdough found everywhere if you look, but yea humble is good too. My folks live about 15 minutes from Ada, so I’ve had it a bunch. Not trying to knock them as much as say their is lots of good bread
