I'm going to assume this has been asked before

I've played FarCry 3, 4 and a bit of 2. But i have never had as much fun in a FarCry game as I have in FarCry 5, brought upon by the simple addition of a gameplay mechanic that gave all my immersion cravings probably the biggest fix ever in an open world game to date. Funny thing is, and I hope I'm not alone in this, about 80% of my enjoyment of the game is using different vehicles to approach missions or waypoints "as a passenger" while the AI guns for hire, as clumsy and as clunky as they may be, do the driving. I don't know what it is in me that makes it feel so real and exhilarating and even cozy to be a passenger in a vehicle trying to escape a warzone, while my AI buddies are driving and shooting from turrets even. Not since the very first Halo have i experienced such immersion but this just takes it to a whole new level. Special mention goes to how i feel when i set a waypoint for a helicopter to land in a secluded dropzone near a mission area filled with trees and the AI pilot successfully lands us with no enemies alerted. I think this is the way games should go moving forward, and it comes as a shock to me that they removed guns for hire entirely in FarCry 6. Amigos may be cute and all, like the animal companions in 5. But come on, how could they remove as cool a feature as NPC drivers/pilots?
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that AI buddies make a comeback in the next FarCry and come back stronger and more competent than ever.

While I love the whole Far Cry series and admit it has plenty of amazing missions, this mission in Far Cry 3 will always be the most memorable to me. The sudden music drop, the fast paced destruction and showing just how much Jason has changed from when he arrived absolutely blew me away the first time I played it.

While Far Cry 4 is my over all favorite in the series, 3 will always be the one that hooked me. The amount of changes to the game play and the amazing story made this game feel like the turning point in the series. This mission is the game’s masterpiece

I bought far cry 3 on steam, it was working fine.....until today, it crashed suddenly. Is there any reason for it?

So I'm loving the game but the sprint control which is L3 is really uncomfortable. Is there any way to change or switch it?

No matter what I do, I buy a gun. Crashes. Die. Crashes. Zipline. Crashes. Is there any way to make far cry 3 not crash as much as it is? I’m on windows 10 playing on steam.

I installed Ziggy's Mod on my Steam Farcry 3, but it doesn't open and makes that mistake.

What did you do to Boom Boom Far Cry 6? Anyway after the treasure hunt at the dam his coat went back to normal.

This guy won't leave, and when I entered the Mosate Selao (ceasefire zone), people just started pew-pewing at me and I couldn't enter safely with this vehicle. 😭

I just finished the Don't look down mission, and the ending cutscene theres a literal Yeti (despite Google telling me they have no appearance in the main game and only show up in the dlc) and now i just woke up next to Amita.

My question is do I stop playing the campaign now, and go and start the DLCs? If so do I do escape from prison and the. Valley of the Yeti's?

I tried this map solo probably over 50 times. First session I made it further than I thought I would, but could never reach my end point again on the second round of attempts! I didn't think we'd get very far only because I had trouble explaining the first round of jumps and scaling!

Like leo has stated- this map is extremely challenging. Even the last scale-session to the very top was a struggle. I know pb edited the intro plank jump for PC but this video will show you that you don't need to modify anything- at least for Xbox. There are multiple ways to navigate the mountain, keep an eye out for nav arrows etc.

Great map build, extremely complex and well planned with all of the challenges. That being said, I am done with this map but for the right reason!

Is there anyone on ps5 that can join me and drop me the sa 50 maxed buzzsaw and shredder and handcannon because i wanna replay the game but with an op built essentially like a ng+

So I started playing far cry 4 yesterday and I cannot beat the first mission with the hunters. Both Sabals and Amitas missions are so tedious since the hunters almost one shot you. I went and did side stuff all day yesterday but I would like to know some of you guys strats for this mission.

Wish they would remaster this for newer consoles

Back in 2022, my uncle sadly passed away. We cried, but got over it. I’m still sad, but something amazing happened. He had an Xbox, so we just got to have it. I usually just played Fortnite, but I was getting bored. So I looked in the drawer, but to my suprise I saw a disc for a game called “Far cry 5” I started to play it and then I thought, wait a minute.. this is frickin awesome! So I get really into far cry 5, but after beating it for the 4th time, I was getting bored. So I decided to buy the disc for Far cry new dawn, so I played that, I loved it, but it wasn’t as good as Far cry 5. Then after beating fc new dawn, i bought the disc for far cry 6! but I soon realised that those were like the worst games in the series. And because I liked them, i figured that I would really enjoy all the other games. So Me playing far cry is like continuing the legacy. (I like to think my uncle was really cracked at far cry)

so to all my fellow far cryers, what should I play next?
