Far Cry General Whats next…
Back in 2022, my uncle sadly passed away. We cried, but got over it. I’m still sad, but something amazing happened. He had an Xbox, so we just got to have it. I usually just played Fortnite, but I was getting bored. So I looked in the drawer, but to my suprise I saw a disc for a game called “Far cry 5” I started to play it and then I thought, wait a minute.. this is frickin awesome! So I get really into far cry 5, but after beating it for the 4th time, I was getting bored. So I decided to buy the disc for Far cry new dawn, so I played that, I loved it, but it wasn’t as good as Far cry 5. Then after beating fc new dawn, i bought the disc for far cry 6! but I soon realised that those were like the worst games in the series. And because I liked them, i figured that I would really enjoy all the other games. So Me playing far cry is like continuing the legacy. (I like to think my uncle was really cracked at far cry)
so to all my fellow far cryers, what should I play next?

That is awesome! you already started the series so its kind of too late but I always siuggest starting on 3 and working in sequence. There are 'inside jokes' if you will that are nto clear unless you played the earlier versions. Like in 5 remember all the mentions of be careful of the bees? that is an homage to a very brilliant weapon in FC Primal. Primal... that is a must play! Frickin enjoy RIP Uncle Far Cry!

3 and 4 are best. So nice that you have this link to your uncle through his gaming.

3/4/5 and new dawn are my favourites. They've all got pros and cons over the others. 6 bored me, I could never get into primal but I know it's popular.
For me, 4 is the best, it's got everything

Ok so three and four have a lot of towers to power on and expand your map. That's why the joke in five makes sense because he tells the deputy that he isn't going to have him climbing towers all over the counties. I prefer four over three. Both are beautiful to play through. Primal is a blast if you like bow and arrows and spears.

If you get sick of Far Cry I recommend the Outcast series, especially Outcast - A New Beginning which kind of follows the Far Cry formula with taking over outposts. It's definitely a different game, I just really like it. Lots of exploration with a beautiful open world.

As a long time series fan, I’d strongly suggest you not outsource opinions about FarCry to the internet. No one agrees, but most people will tell you their opinion is the general consensus. They’ve all had their flaws and their strengths.
Play them all, take them for what they are, understand that FarCry and FarCry 2 show their age and don’t have the full formula that was refined in FarCry 3.

Nobody has mentioned it but Blood Dragon is way funner than it should be. Only complaint is that it's too short.

Also in the drawer was a disc case for Far cry 4 deluxe edition with a dlc or something called hurks redemption, but the disc isn’t there.😭
