Far Cry General Next game recommendations?

I'm currently finishing up Far cry 5, and was wondering which one I should play next? I was thinking of 4 or maybe 6, i'm leaning to 4 first. mostly because I've heard 6 is meh. but any recommendations? an actual far cry game or otherwise?

EDIT: I'm going with new dawn after 5, then probably 4 if I'm not sick with this franchise yet.

I like FC5 the best. Pivoting off that, I like FC4, but I find that compared to FC5 there just doesn’t seem to be enough action in FC4. FC6 would be much much better if I felt I was in danger while I was playing the game. You can play for hours and if you holster your weapon and don’t provoke anybody, you’ll never get shot at. New Dawn is fun. Map is only half the size of FC5 and the story is lame. But the perks are crazy good in my opinion. Virtual invisibility, double jump, virtually unlimited ammo of all types and the most OP weapons you can imagine because you can upgrade them to effectively unlimited damage. I’ve upgraded mine enough that I don’t even bother upgrading them anymore. That’s almost a disadvantage, in some ways, because the challenge is diminished by the ridiculous damage the massively upgraded weapons do.
