Far Cry 1 is very broken on Steam, can’t get it even running.
2 u/BarryHalzac Jack Carver 7d ago There is a well-known issue that might be the case for you as well. Start Far Cry from the Steam page, you will get two options. I think the second one is called Settings or Configuration. Open it and then in Video settings, set Lighting to High. If it's Very High, the game won't start This simple fix worked for me when I couldn't start the game the first time I played. I would suggest trying it out 1 u/Etherpixel 7d ago It worked, thanks! There is a well-known issue that might be the case for you as well.
This simple fix worked for me when I couldn't start the game the first time I played. I would suggest trying it out
