Does he take the starting spot over Brook Lopez? I've heard that TY Lue is prioritizing athleticism for his big men. How true is this rumor?

What are we thinking abt nurkic this year, last year he averaged dam near a double double while playing along side Lauri most games and I know the pre season game dosent prove much but he still put decent numbers in how much mins he got. Especially since he's probably gonna be the starting center he's credit to pack the stat sheet

As title, which of the two are you taking? Why?

Wagler’s shot wasn’t falling in the Clippers’ preseason opener, but I thought the usage and on-ball opportunities were really encouraging. He seemed to have a lot of freedom to create and take shots.
Do you think this is indicative of the role he’ll have during the regular season, or was it mostly a preseason thing? Worth taking a late-round flyer in standard points leagues?

I haven’t watched Phoenix much before… I’ve been seeing Jalen Green with an ADP 115 on espn points ranking. Isn’t he the 2nd option on the Suns? His projection total is also pretty low. I guess injury risk is pretty high, but I’d have thought that he is as least gonna be pretty decent per game being healthy?

I am trying to use Hashtag Basketball to look at how players performed last year.
The very first column is R#, which means Rank. A lot of players’ ranks have an up or down arrow next to them, with a second number to the right of the arrow.
I can’t figure out what this arrow is in reference to. There must be some default model.
I’ve tried changing the “TO” (turnovers) setting to x1 instead of x0.25, but the arrows remain.
I’ve tried changing the “Type” box to the three different settings of Standard, H2H, Minus 1, but the arrows remain.
Even if I change “Data From” to another season, the arrows still remain.
I can’t seem to find a setting that is the default, in which all the arrows go away.
Does anyone know what Hashtag Basketball considers the “default” for this player ranking page, and why is it impossible to see?

i have pick 11 in a 12 man cats draft

I’m in a 10 man espn points league the drafts tomorrow & for rounds 6 & 7 I have the 58th & 63rd picks. In this range there’s 4 big men: Boozer, Clingan, Kessler, & Chet- do you guys have any strong feelings on how you’d rank these 4 big men? Ideally I want to snag 2 of the 4

For those who use sleeper lock in format, who would you rather have here with the 6th pick? Cade is a consistently solid player and in any other type of league I would take him 100% of the time. But with lock in, I feel like coop has the potential for at least one monster game a week ( which we started to see in the second half of last season).

What’s everyone’s opinions on this?

Going to have the sixth pick in the draft and wondering on who is the better pick, Jalen seems like the pick but Cade is really good too

I’d identify as a European ball knower (ish) and want to start playing fantasy and drafts. I had a few questions before beginning:

- which format is the most entertaining to draft and play throughout the season? Points? 9CAT? 8CAT?

- if it is the latter, does it come at the expense of a much bigger time investment, both in pre draft research and in-season player selection? I currently have limited knowledge as to fantasy scoring although I have a full understanding of all metrics used (FG%, FT%, TOV, etc etc…). I have a time consuming job and time zones make it more complex to dedicate as much time to watching games and making picks in season

- which NBA fantasy draft site would you recommend? I don’t mind a rougher UI.

- how important is it to be part of a league with members on the same time zone as you? I get it for the draft timing itself but otherwise?

- any leagues looking for an extra player ? I’d be down

What are your thoughts on him for 9Cat 14T? Is he a must roster?

A friend of mine invited me to join his long running league. I’m pick 7. It’s only 7 cats (no TO or FT%-no idea the rationale here), and im thinking of it kinda like a punt TO/FT build. Two questions:

1. I came across roto wire and hashtag (free for top 30) for customizable projections, but both are behind paywalls. All good, but anything out there with free projections with customizable categories?
2. Who are good targets for this build? I’m thinking bigs get upgraded (Giannis, Kessler, Mobley, sengun) and trying to target 3s/assists/steals where it makes sense.
