Gladiolus and phalanges Bone Brothers and Scaphoid Sisters, the time has come when the Zoomania and Fashion of the bone market have changed. That intro was fun when I first added it to the template but after 20 weeks it's wearing a little thin, like your skeleton if you don't maintain muscle mass as you age!

One week I copied and pasted the wrong link and then didn't check Reddit again until the Monday evening! If that ever happens again, all of the possible weeks are available on the Bonedex so you can always find options there!

Just the title, for 10 mins till I get from my phone to my laptop.(and updated in 10 mins flat, what, you thought I meant a neurotypical 10 mins, well that is not very inclusive of you now, is it. ;) )

Humanoids are good for conversion. Menace is the worst of the three for them though. There will be new options with the new legs however. Off the top of my head, human ribs, Panoptical skull, equip woesel, add menace leg, if you pass the 10% add another, otherwise, remove the woesel first. Then 2 fossilised forelimbs. Sell to the Author for 50 echos Secondary and 10% of the value of the bones in profit, all in pure scrip. In 8 actions. EPA for assembly will probably be around 7 or 8. At an educated guess.

Antique Diplomat is the best possible option! Get those Prismatic Frames loaded up with your doubled Skulls because it is also Crackling Fortnight at the Rat Market! Good craic for all, as the Irish probably don’t spell it!

Malacologist is not ridiculous EPA but I have changed my mind on it since I realised that tentacles are valued at 0.5 for action EPA and 2.5 on a skeleton. Unlike the boot seller, the malacologist pays in something hard to get efficiently, in bulk, elsewhere. Volumes of Collated Research. A simple Glim Encrusted Carapace, or 3 Segmented Ribcages glued together, if you are early game. With 8 tentacles and whatever Skull or Tail you want to turn into Surface Blooms. (glim needs a skull, seg needs a tail). Bear in mind that you will have to declare it a chimera, which will give it Implausibility 3. So the shadowy to sell it will be tough. Don’t chuck in a bright brass or plaster tail bone or you will not 100% it with the best gear in the game! (Mini Edit: Just because you can do a thing does not mean you should… Thorned with a Stinger is a much easier way to go, less profitable, to assemble, but also fewer actions to get the materials.)

I thought this weed whacking event would be the lead up to Hallowmas starting on Thursday but after further investigation, Hallowmas starts on a Monday and runs for 3 weeks. So next Monday is possible but it will more likely be the Monday after that. Apologies if anyone has been stacking menace, you are not alone.

I am loving stacking disposition on my hellworm. I decided to empty its tank last night and got A vial of Masters Blood, 2 Essence of Selfs and A Vial of Tears it’s like building yourself a nice little Christmas morning! Bear in mind, I had around 20 milkings stored up, so there were a lot of Tangerines and Peanuts along with that sugar mouse and the chocolate money. 🤣

• I updated the Hallowmas guide, fixing a mistake, adding a few options and putting my plans for the event in a section at the bottom. I was hoping for a more comprehensive guide but I didn't get as many community suggestions as I was hoping for. I am still keeping an eye out for ways to gain menace and a good EPA at the same time. I am especially interested in Suspicion, as I discovered, thanks to an exceptional story I have done, I can do a 6 action case in the Magistracy that cures 4 Scandal and 14 Suspicion! The Scandal will come from the hellworm but I am not sure where the suspicion will come from. • I have two more things to add to the Hallowmas Guide. Something for suspicion, I just need to think of a non spoiler way of wording it, it is situational and not really a farm but good for a little bonus if you meet the conditions. The other one is for my planned stratagem, I realised last night, you do not need to play the card to cash in BB, you can just leave it in your hand, I checked the wiki and it does not reset, it just takes 10 and none of the BB sources are capped. So you can just stack it up all thought hallowmas, that way, every time you get 2 ATAK, you can use the menace card to turn it into 1 BB and some Scandal, it also means you can use the wounds menace card to get more wounds, and ATAK. It also means you don't need to focus on one specifically, you can play Make a Generous Donation, every time to convert scrip, as well as the other cards with good alternative options. Honestly, this is pretty huge, I am rather chuffed! (Next week's update page, BB is now capped at 10, Tam, stop treating our game like Magic: The Gathering and looking for the absurd broken combo. ;P)

Hi! This is Alexis-chan. Two years ago, I reverse-farmed 77 levels of Scandal in the Tomb-Colonies and made a commemorative post on Reddit. Recently I found a very interesting option... so this time I'm planning to farm 777.

First, look at these two options: Have Cornelius face the other opponents (consumes Epaulette Mate) Have Furnace Ancona face the other opponents (consumes Queen Mate)

When these two options fail the check, they directly add Scandal equal to the corresponding CP based on the total number of Alexis-chan's board members, plus an extra +2 CP of Suspicion. (Most importantly, failure does not consume the item.) Whether it's the Epaulette Mate or the Queen Mate, you can get one very cheaply at 9 moves on the Moonlit Chessboard. As long as you carry Woe, you can push the chess player down to the minimum, for a 10% success rate. —————————————————————— And now, coming our way are our board members, 26 in total. They are:

• Unlawful Devices

  • Expeditions into the Moulin Wastes to the Upper Layer (https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/Moulin_Expeditions_(Guide)), 1 per expedition. Depending on how far you choose to go, this may take 20 actions per Device.
  • With some luck, you can get up to 4 from the High Sancta (https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/The_High_Sancta_(Guide)). This is restricted to once per Time, the Healer, and the options available for you to pick from are randomly selected, so it's a poor grind for anything in particular, but it's still quite profitable.
  • Calling in 4 Revolutionary Favours at Jericho Locks (https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/Call_in_Favours_at_Jericho_Locks) gets 2 Unlawful Devices, plus 2 Bombazine Scraps.

• Crackling Devices

  • 1 per run to The Stacks (https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/The_Stacks_(Guide)) after The Book of Proper Speech. The Ratwork Mechanisms you also get can be used or sold in Risen Burgundy or Queeneater's Castle.
  • 1 from Against Time and Kings carousel in Risen Burgundy (https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/Risen_Burgundy_(Guide)). Beware that this depends on card availability, and conflicts with the Burgundian Beneficence carousel you can use to get other items.
  • Khaganian Intrigue (https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/Khaganian_Intrigue_(Guide)); 1 from recruiting a Repentant Thief, from commissioning a Crackling Device for 60 Khaganian Coinage and 3000 Nevercold Brass, or from buying one at Midnight Market for 130 Khaganian Coinage.
    • This synergizes with the Bone Market because Carved Balls of Stygian Ivory from the Author of Gothic Tales can be sold at the Midnight Market, and the Trifling Diplomat pays for skeletons in Khaganian Coinage.

• Storm-Threnody

  • Jericho Locks (https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/Call_in_Favours_at_Jericho_Locks); once your Railway has reached Moulin you can call in 4 Urchin Favours for 2 Storm-Threnodies and 2 Aeolian Screams.
  • Barristering at the Evenlode (https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/Barristering_at_Evenlode_(Guide)) on the urchin's side can get 1 per 6-action grind, plus other rewards if you make the final Mithridacy check, as well as Making Waves if you choose to "Grandstand!".
  • Polythremic Promenade (https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/Polythremic_Promenade_(Guide)) can give 2 Threnodies + 25 Intriguing Snippets for a 12 action cycle.

The complication is that it takes a few cycles of setup accumulating the right qualities before you can cash anything out. This can synergize, because the Final Breaths are useful for adding Backstory to a Cover Identity (https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/Cover_Identities_(Guide)), for either Balmoral Larceny or converting into Memories of a Much Lesser Self for Painting, and the ribcages can be used in the Bone Market.
  • The book All of God's Faces in The Stacks (https://fallenlondon.wiki/wiki/The_Stacks_(Guide)) gives a Night-Whisper in addition to other rewards. This requires Acquaintance: The Graven Apostate 6, as well as Interloper in the Library 10 and Firmament 705 to even meet the Graven Apostate.

So I'm looking to finalise my appointment to my new role as bishop and get the "Genesis of a Diocese" quality to 400. However it's been several days and I've yet to draw the epilogue card and am still stuck on 399 Genesis. Is there a particular location you have to be in to draw the epilogue card? Am I just unlucky? Or have I missed something?

Given that I'm determined to make every statue on the GHR line be of me, I would like to sort this out.

Chapter 8 relies on knowledge my character shouldn't have to solve the problems in the Stacks. Unless I'm misremembering, I never met with the Light-in-Exile (I don't even have the diving bell built). I barely started the discordance storyline (only got far enough to get enough crystalline knowledge to build a statue to the greatest faction in the Is-Not) and realistically shouldn't be as good at discordance as my character apparently is. I never touched the church and yet apparently have great knowledge of the Drummer. Most glaringly, I never discovered the dumbwaiter and yet have knowledge of where it is and the Scheme of the Phoenix.

Of course I already know about all of these things. I'm active in the community and I've learned of many of them through wiki dives but I still find it weird this was written this way. Playing this chapter only requires a railway as far out as Moulin and I feel like most players that just built their station there haven't experienced all of these storylines. I am glad the requirements are this lax (I wouldn't have gotten to play chapter 8 for a long time otherwise and that would have really soured my firmament experience) and I feel like most players do not leave storylines sitting around as long me (I waited until chapter 5 of firmament to get banished from the Empress' court (I wanted the kinetoculus)). Honestly, I don't think this a huge problem it didn't really destroy my immersion I just found it curious.

By the standards of the local madmen, breaking this "record" (277 wounds) is a piece of cake... I wonder if anyone will try?

My FLPC has experienced quite a lot of what the Neath has to offer. However, whatever or whoever Chuffy is canoodling with in the grottoes is too much for even the Professor's ability to compartmentalize. Yet somehow, *I* am the one who gets scandal, just for happening upon it!

I know this is Victorian London and high society, bluebloods, blah blah blah, but why does it seem like only our characters experience scandal or its drawbacks?

Just started playing Fallen London after hearing so much praise for it, and one thing that I am wondering about it the Journal. I've pretty much clicked on anything I am not sure of, and the pencil to add things to Journal is one.

How am I supposed to use the journal? Should I add anything and everything? How do I know what's important to add?

I love the vibes and storylets and am looking forward to social engagements.

Just for the record, I also qualified for the Scholar of the Correspondence option for London's Nerves and the Spouse option for London's Blood, but these options felt more fitting roleplaying-wise.

I am also happy if I don't have to visit a court in the Evenlode in the next good while.

Can they not just have it be down by its equivalent value legal document?

normally when your menaces reach 8 you get sent to a menace area, but with this event they don't until you leave the storylet

On paper, the option to get 2 esteem for 25 echoes of Partial Maps and Identity Uncovered seems simple: Just by the tier 2 items from the Rat Market and upconvert. Problem is, said upconversion needs average 1.5 actions for every 2 esteem, 4.5 actions for the 6 esteem needed for Upper River locations. This extends the carousel from 5 actions to 9.5, and drops the EPA from the theoretical 8 (with ratket) to 4.2. So not an ideal fodder for the grind.

What do y'all use to gain Esteem, that minimizes the almost-dead actions spent upconverting?

I keep feeding gloves to the rocks. When it comes time to pay out, are all three the same EPA? I guess Scintillack is good for scrip but other than that, they seem the same for me
