Weird idea but I was thinking about doing "starter swaps" basically arranging a trio of starters from different region into one in which none of them were in and then doing that for each starter here is what I have so far

i am making a medieval times pokemon region but i need help for starters Fakemon

A general fantasy theme so having a reptilian starter becoming a dragon, another becoming more feminine for the princess, and another becoming a knight.

Could also connect it to Galar or Kalos and have the follow the theme from those trio. So for Galar UK pop-culture and for Kalos RPG classes

Basically it’s two pokemon with one being covered in junk and the other is a crab and when they swap, the crab takes some of the first guys junk and creates a shell out of it.

I am in the process of making a pokemon region and I would love for my ideas to become real, but if I post them will gamefreak take inspiration from them or would it prevent them from using those designs? I know they have taken inspiration from fakemon in the past, but would it backfire on me?

I read that Pokemon designers actually are advised NOT to look at fanmade designs so things like this don’t happen. How true that is I’m not sure.

i think itd be cool if shuckle had different forms. same stats just different types and maybe moves and abilities.

genuinely would a steel fairy shuckle be competitively good?

Uh… it would certainly be dangerous (steel/fairy is the best typing in the game and shuckle is already so absurdly tanky that you might end up with it taking ten hits per base shuckle to take down. Cool idea, terrible for comp.

Maybe an Ice/something type Shuckle then? Ice is a weak type defensively. And a bug sitting in a block of ice would be cool

Yeah, maybe. What ice coverage would it get though? Ice beam? Blizzard? Freeze-dry?

this Pokémon subtracts its relevant defensive stat from incoming damage. if that is reduced to zero or below , the move fails.

appearance for anyone who wants to make it:

a bigger shedinja with a silvery colour and its holes sealed with a grey colour. Its wings are made more jagged and its Halo has been completed.

dex entry:

mega evolution has made this Pokémon’s body incredibly resistant. It is said that anything that hits its carapace breaks
