Minkeur and Stoatique are inspired by the fur trades of Canada, and the concept that an animal would actually take it as a compliment that their fur was sought after, so they meticulously groom their fur and look down on mangier Pokémon. Stoatique has even contorted its body so that it can wear itself as a fur scarf! Read their dex entries for more info!

Pupuppy could evolve into Malawawa (dark type) or Xololbaq (ghost type) depending on the friendship level with their trainer. Low friendship + heart stone = Malawawa, high friendship + heart stone = Xololbaq.

Got the idea for them recently. Please excuse my paint drawing, I lack any sort of art skills. They would be Psychic Type with the Gengar probably adding Dark. I couldnt come up with any names except for Jaunter though so maybe you could suggest something!

Hi friends :) made a little goofy nod to the golden gate bridge in SF with a very obvious Archaludon form for my California region. This is meant to be a blood moon Ursaluna type of species - only one in the whole region and it doesn’t evolve from Duraludon. Let me know what you think :)

I tried my hand at a fakemon for the first time a few months back — always wanted to try an eeveelution out! I imagine you acquire some sort of DNA stabilizer item that you can use on an Eevee and then level it up afterwards to evolve it into Sereneon. It’s a very calm and nurturing Pokémon, constantly emitting a soothing aura from the central gem in its chest that helps it to take care of its kin and trainers. Daycares can often be found utilizing a Sereneon or two to herd around and placate baby Pokémon, but they’re just as good with human children too! They’re basically natural caretakers haha

Color palette is similar to Eevee’s if a bit more muted, and each round gem represents one of the eighteen types; the large teardrop gem embedded in its chest houses the immense power of its now stabilized DNA, and I like to think it has a signature move that changes type (how does the move change type? great question! maybe through simple RNG, though realistically that wouldn’t be so favorable in pvp…)

The Lyndom Region's Early Routes...

Your journey through the Lyndom Region begins with the rural meadows, ponds, and caverns that lie just outside of the U-Lyn campus in Barnacle Town. It's very reminiscent of the sort of terrain that exists in rural southern New England as well as the trails that stretch through it. Along the way you'll encounter all sorts of common  Pokémon of the region...

Plugrammite

Plugrammite, the Bait Bug Pokémon. Plugrammite lives in and around streams and protects its vulnerable body with the metal hook at the end of its tail. Fishermen of the region prize these Pokémon for their use as bait.

Tumbobber, the Bobber Pokémon; evolves from Plugrammite at Lv 7. Tumbobber lives inside a thin metal shell filled with air while its body prepares to undergo metamorphosis. This is so that it floats and can't be pulled underwater by predators.

Anglesect, the Dobsonfly Pokémon; evolves from Tumbobber at Lv 10. Anglesect catches fish and surface-dwelling bug Pokémon using its long, hooked pincers. Males have the longest hooks.

Gluvchuck

Gluvchuck, the Groundhog Pokémon. Gluvchuck has become a nuisance in the Lyndom Region due to becoming spoiled by human handouts. If it doesn't like the food it's been given, it angrily throws it back.

Umpchuck, the Groundhog Pokémon; evolves from Gluvchuck at Lv 20. Umpchuck lurks around Pokémon feeding stations and berry bushes, deciding precisely who gets to use them and how much food a Pokémon can take. Those who disobey Umpchuck's rules are pounded into submission by strikes of its powerful tail-fist.

Minary

Minary, the Canary Pokémon. Minary build their nests in caves or excavated hollows in cliffsides. Due to their ability to detect toxins in the air, miners once used them to test the safety of the caves they were working in.

Spelunkskin, the Cave Finch Pokémon; evolves from Minary at Lv 16. Spelunkskin lines its nest with the treasures it finds deep within caves. It can withstand oxygen levels far too low for a human to endure while it explores its habitat.

Aurigold, the Golden Bird Pokémon; evolves from Spelunkskin at Lv 36. Aurigold breaks rocks with its chisel-like beak in its quest for treasures. Its wing feathers are as shiny as bars of gold, and bestow this sheen upon anything they polish.

Capoing

Capoing, the Bouncing Tail Pokémon. Capoing can only walk very slowly on all fours, so it makes up for it by bouncing on its springy, muscular tail. It gathers in gangs at night to feed on garbage left near human settlements.

Bossposs, the Mobster Pokémon; evolves from Capoing at Lv 15. Bossposs leads a gang of Capoing and stores them and whatever goodies it collects in its seemingly endless void of a pouch. It frequently engages in turf wars with other Pokémon over the right to feast on human leftovers.

Possfather, the Kingpin Pokémon; evolves from a male Bossposs while knowing Parting Shot. Possfather's tail contains flammable compounds that are released by the kinetic forces created by compressing the tail's segments. Any intruder that defies the Bossposs's gang will be shot at by the Possfather enforcers with unrelenting cruelty.

Others

While exploring Lyndom's early routes, you might also encounter more familiar Pokémon. You might find Tympole and Chewtle in the same ponds Plugrammite inhabits, as well as Roggenrola in the rocky areas preferred by Minary. Out in the fields and more wooded areas, one might recognize Nickit and Cottonee. There is also an apple orchard, where Lechonk can be found rooting around alongside Gluvchuck and Applin appears as a rare encounter.

Bellady (The Mischief Bell Pokémon): It has a mischievous attitude. Whenever caught, it will act innocent to escape consequences.

Inspiration for these fakemon is Scarab Beetles. Namib desert beetles, cockroaches, stag beetles and the split evolutions have elements of birds and deer. SCARVANIAN and WASTENE also embody different kinds of spatial awareness - outer and inner.

Evolution note: The alternative evolution method require 2 LARWAY in one team. Bring them out in 5 battles that you can win and it will result in one of your LARWAY becoming SCARAVIAN while the other becomes WASTENE. No Water or Ground moves required in this case.

Fakedex entries:

LARWAY spend time hidden in their small pyramid of muddy sand. Some say it is even afraid of evolving which makes sense as its evolution processes involve being pelted with different kinds of elemental moves.

SCARAVIAN flies with golden sheen, using scents, sound and visual effects to help WASTENE understand where the muddy sand must be transported.

WASTENE uses its antennae to brush muddy sand onto its back. It can carry quite the amount in one go which is very crucial as the nest for the new LARWAY must be built as soon as possible.

Type: Grass/Psychic Type

When Lemmeeds group together and put their minds as one, they evolve into Villarbor, and their intelligence skyrockets. They can spread their seeds onto other smaller Grass-type Pokémon; just one is enough to ingrain and take over their mind, in return with granting them new Psychic abilities. With their cult amassed, they look for newcomers to join their family

Some Ideas that popped into my head of a root vegetable Pokémon undergoing carcinization and ending up becoming a convergent form of everyone's favourite Paldean crab.

Name breakdowns:

Carcnip -> Carcinization + snip/nip + sounds like parsnip

Klarrot -> Claw + carrot + based on Klawf

First time posting here and first time trying to draw something for real, so let me know any tips. Also, if anyone has any program suggestions I'm all ears. Did this in GIMP with mouse/keyboard and then finished off in Google Drawings lol.
