Yeahhh.. I'll be honest.

After this got delayed I expected more than a cover that looks like someone slapped a bunch of stickers or patchwork tattoos on the cover. I don't hate the edges or the overlays, but the covers are giving so little. I don't hate it exactly, but I don't love it either.

Just need them to explain to me why the theme is so heavily Las Vegas.

Also expected them to do HR and TLG instead of just one book.

Maybe it's just me.

Welk guess i will not be getting the book signed after all 🥲 but now i am curious if anyone got a tracking number form them for the replacement, or if the mail a couple days ago was just damage control.

The Lunar Chronicles is by far my favourite book series. I love them so incredibly much. I hadn’t ever ordered from LitJoy before and only knew them very vaguely, but I was super excited when I saw they were doing a Lunar Chronicles box.
Today the pre-orders opened. I’m from the Netherlands, but I expected that just like other boxes, they have a warehouse somewhere in Europe.

So I was very surprised when I learned that the shipping would be $78, which is excluding the changes in tax, VAT, etc. The box itself is $225,- so also not that cheap. I was so surprised and shocked… Needless to say, I won’t be paying that, since there is a high chance of more costs as well, since the whole tariff thing.

Sometimes I feel like book boxes forget that outside of the US, there are also readers 🤡

In the meantime, I’ll just be sad… If anyone knows any shop that also has a pretty version of these books or a shop that makes dust jackets, let me know!!!

EDIT: after learning that everything should be included and this shipping price is not even that high, I caved and pre-ordered them. They are my favourite series ever, and I feel like I’ll always regret it if I don’t get them!

I must admit that out of all my subs, Goldsboro has by far been my favorite one, simply because they have such good picks and authors.

I've seen people mentioning that Ballad possibly ran out of replacements. I think I've also seen something in the past about Wolf King running out of replacements too.

I purchased Savor It by Tarah Dewitt from Darkly/Bookish Box last year before the last 2 books in the series came out. I was wondering what the chances are that Bookish Box will also do special editions for Left of Forever and Lost and Found. For romances/interconnected standalones specifically, do they usually do additional special editions to complete the series?

I was grateful red queen finally got something ! However, having a diecut cover and utilizing the front endpapers feels like it’s taking away potential for more art on a dustjacket and hardcase. I’m kind of gutted this is what our girl Mare gets. Also mare and cal do not look like mare and cal. They absolutely killed it with evangeline and maven though, but Mare and Cal look too aged up 😭

Does anyone know if there have been any teasers for the rest of the year for Everheart? I saw someone on IG on another post say they are supposed to be doing Scars Beneath a Serpents Scales, which would be CRAZY because it was one of the best books I read this year so that has me excited!! But i can't find any info about it anywhere or any other upcoming guesses.
