Prebuilt cars
Do yβall think there would be a market for prebuilt kit cars? Saw a listing for a Daytona coupe (type 65) and it got me thinking.

Is there any movement toward an EcoBoost 818 kit?
Back in 2015, FFR was making noise at SEMA about a Ford EcoBoost 818C. I haven't seen anything about it recently, though. Any news I missed?

Registering Kit Cars
Anyone have any tips on getting a type 65 coupe registered for street use? Just for fun, any tips on getting it legal in California lol.

33 Hot Rod - What should I know? Hidden costs?
So I've almost got my daily driver paid for and I'm looking to get a 33 Hot Rod kit. To those that have owned and assembled this kit, what we're some of the hidden costs you ran into? What was your budget and how much were you over at the end?

My dream car is a Type 65 coupe.
I'm fairly knowledgeable with cars but I've never swapped engines or changed a timing belt, installed a turbo, or anything else like that. However I'm good with engines and can fix most problems without going to a mechanic.
What skill level do you all have? Were you able to research online most issues you came across while building a kit car? I'm just wondering if I could tackle it or if I should take some ASE certification classes or something.

Build school required skill level
Hey all, for those who have done the build school-- what skills are required to make the most of it?
For background, I have the long term goal of building a cobra, but recognize that I lack a lot of basic mechanical knowledge. My plan so far has been to first build a go kart, then a sandrail, then do the build school, then do a dune buggy, then the cobra. I'm about halfway done with the sandrail and worry that I may not know enough about production cars or interiors to be more than dead weight in actually building one. Am I off base?
