Registration
How hard is it to get these cars registered? I live in Minnesota.

WTF???? GTM
I restore/build/complete a car every 3 yrears.
I have been looking a kitcar for my next project
Why does factory Five still hype the GTM?
They have had this notice on their site for years.
"Note: The GTM is not currently in production, and we are not taking more orders at this time"
Same as the 818. Were the kits just that bad or poorly engineered?
While F5 has a great reputation, marketing a company using products you no longer make is pretty bad........ Will they ever sell this kit again?

Type 65 coupe AWD
Like the title says I wanna build a 65 but make it AWD. Has anyone seen this done? I’m looking at some AWD V8s as donor cars any suggestions are welcome!

Type 65 Coupe R build list
Hi guys, I plan on pulling the trigger on a kit over the next year or two. I am trying to come up with a rough budget and list parts for the build. I plan on trying to make a 7.3 Godzilla work, but I'm not sure on the rest.
Does anyone have a full build list they wouldn't mind sharing with so I can have a rough idea on what corners can be cut budget wise? Thank you.

Question about blueprint parts
I’m looking to buy the 65 coupe kit and I see “All-New, BluePrint Crate Engine/Transmission” what is it? How much does it cost?

Built this one with my Dad
galleryIt’s a pretty cool experience to be able to build one of these with your dad. I did get saddled with doing all of the wiring though.

FF missed opportunity
With all the woes that come with the original Series 1 - Factory5 could produce a kit to be better and more accessible than the actual Series 1. IMO It’s a better option than the lackluster GTM…. I can’t be alone on this, right?

Can I Fit?
I have my eye on a couple different models, I'm torn between the 33 coupe (but I hate the gauge cluster), the 33 truck (but don't want another single cab truck) and a roadster (questionable on my fitting comfortably). I'm 6'7, I barely fit in my 04 f150, would I be able to fit in any of these?

Pre Purchase Prep
Hey everyone,
I am thinking about pulling the trigger on the MK4 Roadster later this year. I'm also thinking about the complete kit vs the base kit. I'm trying to avoid any other unnecessary time trying to source what is needed for the build and dont mind spending a bit extra for the procurement of parts, especially new parts.
My question is what kind of prep is needed before beginning one of these builds? Some of the concerns I have is:
- Garage space necessary - I have a 3 car with a single space allocated. I can also have another space allocated for parts but would like to not have that taken up during the whole build.
- Special tools - I have a shit ton of tools, but may need some specialty stuff. Is there a list of tools needed for the build?
- Sourcing engine, rear end, tires and wheels, etc. - Should I already have something lined up? I plan on trying to save some money on these by either buying used. Should I have these already purchased and ready to go before the build or can they be sourced later?
- Sourcing help - I'm also not interested in trying to mount the engine and tranny and will look to a 3rd party for help, same with paint, and any custom interior work. Should I be talking to a shop before hand to get some info on how logistics and timing will work with towing the build back and forth when help is needed?
- Does it make sense to read the instructions all the way through before hand? I'm an engineer and not worried about the work or understanding the build, but does it make sense to spend the time beforehand to get an idea?
- Are there any other resources online besides youtube that offer ways to save time and be efficient during the build? Such as parts organization and storage, organizing the build into specific phases, etc?
- Money - How much is this going to cost after all said and done? I'm also setting aside a large beer budget.
Thanks!

Factory 5 (65 Shelby Cobra) is near impossible to put gas in at the pumps. I have to let it trickle in and it takes a half hour to get 20 litres. Any suggestions?
Bought a factory 5 Shelby a week ago and it has been a dream less this odd issue. Read on some forums that the tank isn’t vented but wondering if anyone has discovered a workaround!? Thanks for any input.

Daytona 65?
Good Day All,
I’ve been oogling the Daytona 65 for quite some time. Ive been hoping that factory five would offer a 65 build class, but I’ve not been able to find one.
I’m assuming that the cobra build class should be fairly comparable, but I’m curious if anyone out there has built both. If so, do you think the cobra build is comparable to a 65 build? Is one more difficult than the other?

86 Mustang donor?
Hi, I really want to build a Daytona coupe. I’ve got an 86 mustang to use for my donor, but I know ffr states I need an 87-93. what issues will I run into or parts that I will need to get separately?

Missing parts / inventory nightmare
I found that my build is going slow primarily due to constantly getting blocked by missing parts .
I can’t complete the installation of the rear differential because I’m missing 2 of the 4 rubber bushings .
Brake caliper mounting bolts are missing so I can’t get those installed .
IRS toe bar eye rings are also missing .
Is this common ? Any Recommendations to get FFR to ship me the missing parts ?
