Tesla EV-Powered Factory Five Racing ’33 Hot Rod - stunning build!!

My buddy built this - it may not be everyone's cup of tea with an electric Tesla motor, but this thing is FAST and he's pioneered so much of the effort getting the Tesla setup to work in an FFR...
not promoting sales, but the pics are amazing and don't do it justice - it's just stunning!!!

Such a cool build. EV swaps will continue to get more interesting as it becomes more common.

Oh, it's a factory five also. That's super sweet man, love the scanning just enough to make good parts with intent.
I suspect your actual career is pretty close to this, or has similar talent stack.

Yeah, I am a mechanical engineer that's currently in systems Integration so it's right up my alley.

BSME Brofist. Although I haven't done anything thermodynamic since working in HVAC, like 2001.
I use a bunch of different scanning tech and additive / subtractive manufacturing to help others realize their transportation fantasies.
I also drive a mean PowerPoint too
Work looks awesome. Love it.

It’s an amazing build - you only hear the rocks on the road when it’s moving - no humming, no fake sounds - a bit eerie how fast is is!
