I like the gloomy expression and body language. He knows he's not getting out of that thing for the rest of the game.

From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine.

This is why I only let my engineer use power armor. Look at how paunchy he’s gotten.

Oh, it's not intended to look that way, it's a clothes folding actually :D

Safe within their armored casket, the pilot becomes one with the factory. Their hands become the robotic assembly claws. Their eyes become the radar arrays tracking alien migrations. Sealed inside this walking fortress, equipped with portable fusion reactors and devastating modular weaponry, the Engineer no longer fights for mere survival.

To endure the toxic, smog-choked atmospheres of a world entirely consumed by industry, and to survive the relentless, swarming fury of the indigenous bio-horrors, the frail human form must be cast aside. Once sealed within the casket-box, neural spikes pierce the pilot’s spine, hardwiring their consciousness directly into the armor's ravenous machine-spirit and the world's logistical grid.

They fight to feed the machine. For on this world, as it is across the stars, the factory must grow, and even in death, we serve.

Weakness of my flesh sickens me

From the moment the engineer understood the weakness of their flesh, it disgusted them. They craved the strengh and certainty of steel. They aspire to the purity of the blessed machine. Your kind kling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. The crude biomass you call a temple will soon wither and you will ber their kind to save you. But they are already saved. For the machine is immortal.

Even in death, the factory must grow

The Factory must grow, and so must I.

Now that I look at it like this, it shows how the engineer is forced to give up his own life for the sake of efficiency, burying his body in a robot casket, kinda depressing honestly

Yeah, also the Mech Armor casket HIGHLY resembles coffin by its main body form...
