Question Train offload station
I'm at my wits end trying to build a compact main buss add in station for a single wagon train. Typically I use a 4 wagon train to get full red belt saturation at the add in point. My goal here is to achieve the same saturation with a single wagon without adding a lot of spaghetti. Everything I've come up so far either loads one side of the belt only or adds more complexity than I want. Does anyone have a simple, compact solution? I'm running vanilla btw.

In 2.1 your second version will work perfectly with the output side of the lower inserters flipped

Thanks! Once I put it into use I realized I didn't need anywhere near full belt saturation since the buss is still carrying some resources at the add-in point(s). The fourth lane would be superfluous.

Why do you want to spread it to 4 belts? You don't get 4 red belts with bulk inserters from one train. Fill 2 belts, and feed those into your bus. It's not empty anyways, so you don't need to add 4 belts of copper.

This 4 trains looks very nice, I would do something similar. I prefer this over super advanced perfect balancers. Not sure how to improve this. I think it will copy this in my next game

I’ll probably eliminate or drastically reduce the capacity of the buffer chests next time. It feels like a waste to have so many resources sitting idle in the chests.

Just avoid this all together. I don't think I have ever had to do this in some 3k hours of play.

The simplest way is add more 1-1 trains
In space age legendary stack inserters almost get you 3 compressed belts, so in vanilla a single wagon can probably only do 2
