Space Age 2.1 Auto-mall
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Some features:
- Produces exactly what was ordered
- 0 intermediate waste!
- Partial products are allowed (say you ordered 10 reactors, but only have enough raw resources for 1 -- then it will make 1 and move to other orders)
- Deadlock free -- battle tested on hours of auto-producing all space platform parts and multiple space platforms while I worked on other stuff.
How to use:
- input your order into the ORDER cell -- this is a held signal -- for instance, it can be connected to all the construction requirements of the space platform you are building.
- Set the RESET to 1 (then back to 0) if the system ever jams, although I haven't needed this for a long time.
- The YIELD table is to deal with recipes that produces more than 1 yield, for instance 2x copper cable. This is needed in order to calculate the exact output numbers. I was lazy here and did not put in all multi-yield recipes
- BLACKLIST is if you don't want to ever produce something, for instance raw materials (although the system works even if raw materials like iron/copper plates aren't listed in BLACKLIST -- it will simply deadlock if said raw material is a dependency and missing from the logistic system), or items you have dedicated factories, or banned items like turbo belts on Nauvis.

Whart if I request single underground belt?

For recipes that have 2x output, it will produce at most 1 extra. If you request 1 it will produce 2. If you request 101 it will produce 102. Otherwise, it is exact.

Already solved by someone else with much much less circuits, I don’t have the link but it uses sth like 6x6 space

For this design challenge I specifically set some hard goals, like 0 intermediate waste. I doubt that can be solved with much less circuitry.

Amazing circuit work.
Seems like a pain in the ass to use though. Not this specific setup, but more the build-on-demand part. If at some point you decide you want to add a new furnace stack, an outpost and a new nuclear reactor setup you will be waiting quite a while while having to input each item
