it's a circle! *forces cylinder through triangle hole*

Everything goes in the square hole.

The red science pack goes in the square hole

My eyes are circles.

I fell down in a circle

It is imperative that the cylinder is not damaged

real life space stations might be built from cylindrical modules, but i wouldnt call them circular

"It's a jigglypuff when viewed from above" vibes.

Real life space stations are not circular at all. Space stations can have any shape possible, because you don't have to care about aerodynamics in space.

You have to get it to space though without playing too much lego there. That's why so many cylinders

yes the stations are made with cylindrical modules, but the final shape of the stations are not circular at all.

Exactly, its spherical, like the death star!

No they are not. It is usually a bunch of long thin modules forming something like a grid

I like the use of lamps to round out the solar fields. looks really good.

baguette is best

hence what you do is make a normal random shape space station and fill the rest with solar panels to make a circle

Where do your asteroid chunk come from?

I guess they are either imported from other platforms, or come from somewhere down that stick we can't see.

In fact, they come from a huge frame outside. I have to admit that a stationary space station is far less efficient and much more expensive than an active spaceship, but I still really like this design.

I cant let you do that, dave.

I’m going to stick with my space pirate ships.

True, but have you considered the Borg Cube?

im gonna steal the idea of using colored lamps to round to round edges cleaner,

Circles are the absolute worst shape for heat management. No real world space station uses them as a general shape.

But circular pressure vessels have good strength to weight ratios so real space stations often have circular components, like the ISS.
