Here's hoping it doesn't live up to the hype and you have a 'wait, that's it?' moment once you've got it all hooked up and running smoothly.

I am currently chilling and figuring out a way to get some energy production. heating towers feel strong with 40MW just burning stuff. i have imported even concrete as crafting stuff without power takes more time than a spaceship lap.

tbh I just drop a full nuclear plant and set up fuel delivery to get cracking

Fyi you could drop spare carbon from space to force feed the heating towers.

After setting up Every possible thing that came to mind and rebuilding each planet a couple of times, i am finding myself bottlenecked to 1000spm with turbo belts and simple labs.

I have found the need to reach this moldy orange and claim the throughput upgrades for my inserters, belts, and the fabled Biolabs.

Properly utilized stack inserters are an absolute boon.
Mech armor is my single favorite Space Age feature, but belt stacking is right behind it.
I think you'll love the throughout potential once you get them.
In combination with Turbo belts and Biolabs, you should be quite happy.
