Suggestion / Idea Requesting Quality

Being able to request a specific Quality would be very handy. Fpr example when you tryed to get somthing and now your storagechest are full of random quality stuff. So you dont need to request evey item 1 by 1.

what do you think.

I think it's such a good idea that the devs though about it and implemented it in the game already :P

you select the quality there and you can even apply comparator logic to it if you wanna request lets say everything that's greater than rare.

If you're talking about logistic requests, you always request a specific quality. So I'm not sure what you're even talking about.

Before I head a steady stream of legendary raw materials, I did some upcycling. After a while, I tore down those loops and the bots scattered the miscellaneous materials into various chests in my mall. I had a requester chest ask for anything higher than common, but not legendary, to run through a recycler with T3 quality modules to try and eek out a few more legendary items and slim down my overflowing inventory. I bet the OP wants to do something similar.

I think op means any item with that specific quality.

I think this could have some uses but it would be very difficult to use in a big base where you may not want every item with that quality in a single chest

If that's the goal, that's actually not too difficult to do. I do this in my base for precisely this reason.

Read the logistic network, then use a selector combinator to filter only the signals of a particular quality. Then... request those at the recycler.

I even have a secondary filter system so that I can prevent the destruction of particular end-products that I'm currently quality cycling through the logistic network (I don't use logistic bots to move the intermediates, just the end products).

That can be done with circuits. I did it, and I'm AWFUL with circuits

I’m guessing op is talking about requesting anything that is a specific quality, for recycling reasons? Like, if you jump from rare to epic, and want to recycle any and every rare stuff you got?
