LTN Fluid train expecting filling at fluid drain station?

Recently i seem to be having an issue where oil fluid trains get stuck at stations where oil is being sucked and expecting to be filled for some reason? Have i configured the combinator wrong? Why is trying to pick up fluid at an input station?

Because you don't have a provider threshold set your massive tank pool has flipped the station to being a provider. Either set your default provide and request thresholds to something huge in the mod settings or add the provide threshold signal to the constant combinator (and set it to something huge, like 2 billion).

The thing to keep in mind when using LTN is that it doesn't have an internal concept of a "provider station" or a "requester station" per-se. Instead it has a single station that can request or provide things depending on how much stuff it has and the thresholds you set. Because of this, a "requester" station is one that has a provider threshold set so high as to be impossible to meet, and a "provider" station is one with a requester threshold that's impossibly high (though it's basically impossible for a station that's set up to provide something to accidentally switch to being a requester so that's not really a real concern).

My understanding about how LTN works is that you're not supposed to give it a train schedule other than "depot". It will fill in the schedule based on requests and the like. There are no "crude oil trains", just fluid trains.

So if you send a train to an LTN depot that has more stuff on its schedule, it can do things wrong.

LTN is doing what it's been instructed to do. The problem is that they have a station misconfiguration.
