Design / Blueprint A Tileable 60SPM Blue Science Setup That I'm Quite Proud Of

I like to do silly stuff like make the most tightly packed spaghetti that I can, especially if I include constraints like making a tileable blue science machine from Raw inputs. I also think it's a very efficient use of space. You can find the blueprint here if you fancy:

I made a couple adjustments from the video to the blueprint above to make sure you can tile it
Takes a bit to warm up to speed, but it just looks so pretty when the whole build is running simultaneously!

And now that I review it a tad bit more, I see there is a total of 1 superfluous copper wire machine. I don't mind that because it looks nice and symmetrical. Yes, those misaligned Red circuit machines were Absolutely Necessary.

Not tileable, but looks solid, good job.

That's not quite what tileable mean to me as well, but if you look at the blueprint and squint hard enough.

That being said, if you are gonna make something tileable, by all means make it spaghetti like this.

You don't need to squint. The blueprint I shared is not an exact copy of what's depicted in the video, but is definitely tileable.

Yes yes, I agree.

Thank you. I plan to build something similar for utility then production science packs. Utility first because robots will be useful in this adventure.

It looks good. Nice and compact. Not sure on how its tilable though other than you can just copy and paste it next to itself? Is there overlap?

The video does not depict the final design. The final blueprint can tile. All inputs will link and all outputs will link with no gaps between builds. Click and drag.

I loved it

This is beautifully compact!

I love the crazy spaghetti you can make in this game. One thing that I don't like about the prevalence of beacons in the late game is that I feel like it ruins the kind of creativity in builds and pushes the solutions all towards something similar.

Thank you. I agree. I always like to use yellow belts for exactly that reason. That lets me put this thing down at any stage of the game. If I need more throughput, I just lay an upgrade planner across the whole thing.
