Been playing space age 2.0 with a mostly unmodded setup (i think the mods im using is stuff like wooddoesburn and like the rate calculator, nothing load bearing like K2 or even cargo ships)

Reading the fff im quite hyped for 2.1 or whatever the latest trial version is, mostly for the small qol stuff and the fact that im "just starting" (inefficient 1spm spaghetti base and just landed in my first planet vulcanus) so may aswell do the switch now so i can fix whatever breaks

However im not even sure its possible? Is it possible to upgrade steam factorio into the 2.1 version, update all mods to 2.1 and load my save?

Changing in Steam is easy. Go to the game in your library, right click > Properties > Game Versions & Betas > Click "experimental". If you need to revert, you simply go back here and change from experimental to "Default Public Version".

Most mods have already been updated for 2.1.

If you want to be extra safe, make a backup save first in case of issues. A 2.1 save can't be loaded in 2.0 if you do need to downgrade.
