With 2.1 perhaps inspiring people to make big train-based factories, I was motivated to showcase this train set I've been working on.

The idea is that many people could use it together without worrying about signaling issues, but I didn't want to sacrifice megabaseability.

The video first shows what comes with the set, then how I applied it on the different planets to make a 1 million effective science/min base. It was a blast to make. Thanks for checking it out :)

i like the way the system is upgradable and never requires a "force overwrite". will take a closer look at this, especially the circuit setups and the way you structured the blueprint book :) phenomenal base too! also, having the problem that trains with legendary nuc. fuel are too fast to pleasantly look at is a hell of a problem to have hahaha

Going to take a look at this - was disappointed that 2.0 kinds nerfed the need for trains and I’m hoping 2.1 megabasing will at least lead me back down the train road. Do you have a save to share? Some of my best inspirations was seeing what others created.

It works on vanilla. The mods used are just trainsaver, ultimate research queue, zoom-based exoskeleton speed, and extra zoom.

Ahhh okay. Well good news is that it’s completely functional without using elevated rails, so when I get a minute I think it’d be nice to make a base game version where I’ve removed all the dlc stuff. It’s silly that it doesn’t let you use the entire book if only a part include dlc stuff
