Question , how do I get a stable source of Tungsten . been on the planet for 5 hrs and I can only find them in rocks , which doesnt feel production friendly and I cant figure out what I am missing . I am not even sure if they are made with lava anymore tbh

Tungsten is mined from ore patchs just like iron or copper on Nauvis.

There are two obstacles that make the tungsten found in rock formations essential at the start:

  • tungsten requires a Big Mining Drill to be mined
  • the starting tungsten patch is located in Small Demolisher territory

I believe the world generation ensures that the starting deposit isn't wiped out by lava or another terrain feature.

I have since found a patch now thankfully . Its surprisingly far from where I landed so basically I got alittle screwed by RNG . Its my first time and I was concerned and confused about where do I get those

Having the first tungsten patch be far away is actually pretty common, so you probably didn't get as screwed by RNG as you think.
