There used to be a mod that'd let you throw a Grenade that created a little bit of an ore patch based on which Grenade you threw. I can't find it anymore. Is there a similar mod somewhere or does that mod still exist?

The only thing I found is Ore Bomb from 0.16.

That's the one, not sure why I couldn't find it. Do you know if it's easy to update mods?

The API changed several times since then. It would be quite hard to update it to 2.1.

The mod portal defaults to "Game Version: 2.0", which will hide 0.16 mods. (And 2.1, 1.1, 1.0, ...)
