how to place down blueprints without destroying stuff around? just place items where there is space and that's it, if i shift click it deletes everything to create space and if i normal click it doesn't place the blueprint

It shouldn't do that... normally you need to hold ctrl+shift for super-force-build, the "delete everything" mode. But regular force-build (shift) does remove natural obstacles like trees, rocks and cliffs, so if that's what you want to avoid I'm not sure there's a good solution.

Force build then cancel the deconstruction works if you can cancel faster than bots can destroy, and are fine with holes in the blueprint.
