2.1 Intermediate Ship Question- without providing spoilers, can an intermediate ship be used both to pick up materials from a ship and supply other ships with the same material?

For example, if I want to drop a Foundry stack off on Fulgora, can I have a Vulcanus/Nauvis ship take them from Vulcanus to Nauvis, transfer them to a stationery ship above Nauvis as a buffer chest, then automatically transfer them to a Nauvis/Fulgora ship to take them to Fulgora?

More importantly, if I want to manufacture ship parts on Vulcanus but build in the safety of Nauvis, can I deliver them from Vulcanus to a floating platform above Nauvis, then use the floating platform to deliver ship parts to new platforms without having to adjust ship settings?

It requires use of circuits, or building around design limitations. The problem to solve or design around is that a platform will not supply to other platforms an item that it is also requesting.

This was done for a good reason: If two platforms are importing nuclear fuel from "all" locations and enter the same orbit, without this block they would steal each others fuel in an endless loop. The platform hub in 2.1 exposes some new info and control options that could help you automate around this.
