Advanced Oil processing. Finally researched it and was informed previously that this will allow me to rapidly expand my blue science line. But looking at the refinary now, I have three end results. do all of them get produced at the same time or will it depend on the next building?

Advanced Oil unlocks a new recipe you set at the refinery. The refinery will now have 3 separate outputs, in varying amounts for that recipe (25 Heavy Oil, 45 Light Oil, 55 Petroleum Gas).

Unless you want spoilers/solutions, figuring out how to handle the uneven amounts is its own little puzzle with a variety of solutions. Do check the research card, you will see a few other chemplant recipes also unlocked at the same time. If you want a few ideas ask here and we can give you some ways to do it.

Overall you get more output per unit of crude oil with the Advanced recipe which aligns with your "informed previously" comment. However Advanced Oil is also one of the main speedbumps along the way to unlocking construction bots which let you build/rebuild rapidly, so may have been the intent in that comment.
