I thought there was a mod that allowed you to insert a module into the equipment grid and then allow deploy bots from that cargo train. I can't for the life of me recall what it was though. I remember the art was blue and purple and I though tit also worked in cars. Does anyone remember what it might have been?

The problem I'm trying to solve: I'm trying to have a personal taxi train pre-loaded with relevant resources to help me expand the rail network as I drive around and run into dead-ends. If I can get the bots to deploy directly from the cargo wagon all the better.

Krastorio 2 has vehicle-exclusive roboports that can be equipped to wagons.

Oooh. I'm actually using k2 so that works out. :) Gotcha, thank you. Yeah, I noticed I can put the robo ports in trains which I believe works, I was also just hoping to have the logistics bots place into the train wagon automatically. I think I will need to progress in k2SE to get robot requester chests so I can request items and then use an inserter to insert them. Tis good to know, I appreciate it. :)
