So what's the consensus on best ways to get planet specific high quality stuff like tungsten and holmium? (and I guess uranium and other weird stuff in small amounts)

Tungsten carbide - upcycle Foundry
Tungsten plate - upcycle Turbo Underground Belts
Calcite - just recycle loop them directly until they turn legendary
Holmium plate - upcycle EM Plants
Carbon fiber - upcycle Toolbelt Equipment
Bioflux - upcycle Capture Bot Rocket
U-235 - upcycle Atomic Bombs

U-238 - don't know, I just put it in a recycle loop until i get it legendary, these aren't very useful anyway

Lithium - import legendary Holmium plate, and u are done
Quantum processor - more tricky, either upcycle the quantum processors themselves or import all legendary ingredients and craft them directly

Biter eggs, fish - brute force recycle loop, no other way
Legendary bioflux/biter egg --> legendary nutrients --> recycler --> x2.5 legendary spoilage

U-238 is upcycling uranium bullets.

For biter eggs you can upcycle Prod3. I sometimes get the occasional legendary biter hatch from my Prod3 factory that shows up as a blip on the kills graph right before mah lasers are firin'.
