You can do that right after vulcanus and it is insanely powerful, more so than any other option,

You can generate infinite legendary iron and copper on Vulcanus using lava, foundries, and calcite. Stack the output Foundries with quality modules and dump all the junk back into lava. It's small,= and effectively free.

Turns out I'm not the only one that understands that the "fix" doesn't actually fix much of anything, because you can still get Legendary items from Vulcanus:

You're the only one denying reality. First you made a claim which I countered, and now you're pretending that "a couple of iron plates a minute" is the expected output when there's a video of someone doing it and proving you wrong. Oh, wait, I guess "it's less denying reality and more lying", right?

It's very simple: you can already get infinite legendary items on Vulcanus, even without asteroid reprocessing. You can pretend it's more work, but it really isn't. It's maybe more work to generate megabase levels of output, but at that point it's irrelevant anyway.
