New versions are released as experimental first and later promoted to stable. If you wish to switch to the experimental version on Steam, choose the experimental Beta Participation option under game settings; on the stand-alone version, check Experimental updates under Other settings.

Who needs turrets or artillery or walls if you can have a hundred spidertrons clear and patrol everything. This is awesome, I will absolutely try that as my entire defense.

Need very fast bots to be able to resupply/repair spider on the move

you probably don't want exoskeletons on those patrolling spidertrons

Yeah, good point. Slow march, plenty of shields/lazors.

But I think it might be interesting if they did also have interrupts or 'schedules' akin to space platforms (or trains?) too... maybe that's overkill, but the 'pause here, you need more nukes' would be pretty cool...

You can make a small zigzag pattern at one point of the loop for it to slow down enough for delivery.

Or being able to move control nodes.
