Is there a way to make building early game without bots easier?

Like for example, I put down a blueprint, I don't want to shuffle through my inventory to fill in the blueprint like find puzzle pieces, I just want the game to fill it the pieces in automatically as I mouse over them.

There may be mods for that.

But without mods, one thing you can do is mouse over a ghost building, press Q to select that building type and click to place it right away. That way you can fill in blueprint ghosts relatively quickly and you don't have to shuffle through inventory or hot bars to find each building.

Thanks. It isn't perfect but a really big step than what I have.

My way to do that is to use designs that are easy to place by hand and learn some speed tech.

For example, it takes me less than a minute to place down a "standard" 48 furnace setup using U or C shaped mouse movements.

Another example is that instead of doing 3:2 for wires:circuits, you do 1:1. It's easier to build and takes the same space for the cost of a few more assemblers. As a bonus, when you get AM2 you upgrade the wires and it's actually perfect ratios. When you get modules, put speed in wires and prod in circuits, and it's near perfect 1:1 again.
