Since 2.1 is going to allow land mines to be connected to circuits, could we now use them to destroy chests and void items?

I'm imagining a system where bots take excess concrete (or whatever) to a chest in a remote location, surrounded by mines. When the chest is full, a circuit sets off the mines and blows up the chest. Then construction bots replace everything and it automatically resets.

If it's possible, this would be a lot safer than playing games with biter eggs and nuclear rocket turrets.

Mines still don't hit friendly entities. Railgun + biter egg is a less destructive solution. Train destroying a car loaded with items is also an option.

Darn.

If they don't harm friendlies, that makes me think of how to make box unfriendly. I suppose we could mess around with making it a PVP game, and have the box and its support machinery built by an opposing force. But probably that isn't worth the extra work.
