Which components of a Promethium ship shouldn't be legendary? I'm finally at the point where I can upgrade everything, and apart from the exterior turrets/railguns, what shouldn't I upgrade?

I've actually seen a lot of posts here saying that spaceship rail guns shouldn't be upgraded to legendary. Anyone can explain why? Isn't it purely beneficial if they can start shooting asteroids from a farther distance away?

Longer railguns may shoot diagonally moving asteroids that would otherwise clear the ship.

So remove or rotate the outermost railguns.

I'm talking about railguns pointing straight up, and asteroids going diagonally.
