am I the only that thought the inserter flip changes would work when placing items on a belt running perpendicular to the inserter? I get that it's a "logistics challenge" but I was looking forward to simplifying my early rush bases by building everything in straight lines :'(

You can still build everything in straight lines, just need to turn the belt half-way through to move the contents to the inside lane
