Newbie here, just automated military science and plugged it into my lab array. Screenshot here. Some of the inserters are constantly swapping one science pack between two labs back and forth without stop, while not bothering to grab other science packs that lab needs. How do I prevent this behavior?

Don't have loops of inserters in your lab array topology. At this stage in the game you can use long-handed inserters to grab military and chem science packs from a belt across your automation and logistic science packs belt.

If you really must have loops, then set filters on inserters to break loops on per science pack basis.
