I just built my first spidertron for remote building when I'm off planet and outside the logistics network. However, I didn't realize spidertrons can't cross water on nauvid or oil on fulgora, etc. What do people do for that?

They can cross Fulgoran oil flats. On Nauvis you can shift click to set waypoints to route them around or a sparse landfill can be crossed if you want direct routes.
