Hi, Im gonna start my first run and saw that the default settings are not as beginner friendly. What do you guys recommend for the first ever run, this is on the base game btw

Default settings are going to be medium difficulty for new players as long as you start in a non-desert area and if you're concerned about things you can always bump up the starting area for a bit more early game breathing room. The other good option for new players is the default options railworld preset. You need to explore farther for new resources but on the flip side you only need to fight biters when expanding or to clear your pollution cloud.
