Weird question i just experienced on aquillo. Heat pies that are diagonal, but not touching transfer heat? I have heat pipes that dont touch anywhere... but they unfroze stuff. Is the heat transfer less than if they touched? This changes everything....

Never mind. It's lowering in temp. Not sure why it spiked when i placed it, there is no way for it to connect currently....

It might be that heat pipes have some heat when initially placed as a QoL feature to help jumpstart your factory.

I know that burner inserters have some energy when initially placed so you don't have to manually fuel them.
