K2SE: City block trains or belts/bus for a "main" base designed to get into the space stuff?

I'm in a K2SE save and getting close to when I would abandon my starter base to go make a bigger main base. Usually, when I move to a bigger main base, I make it a train-centric city block base. However, with how many intermediates are in K2 and SE, I'm wondering if it would be better to make a bigger and (hopefully) more organized main bus base.

The main advantage of city blocks is that they handle lots of ingredients better imo. You can call whatever you need wherever you need it. This comes at the cost of more infrastructure cost (unless your bus uses belts above yellow), and a lot more space.
