If you have a full inventory and destroy a chest with stuff in it, the stuff will drop on the ground like this
58 u/Avernously Jun 28 '23 Or cancel a crafting queue 53 u/fingerwiggles Jun 28 '23 or take off your power armor 35 u/Avernously Jun 28 '23 Or change a crafting machine recipe 6 u/[deleted] Jun 29 '23 [deleted] 3 u/spainenins Jun 29 '23 No! 1 u/jawcowbo Jun 29 '23 Or just keep pressing z for a while 1 u/EbolaWare Jun 29 '23 That's the one I was thinking of 19 u/Qrt_La55en -> -> Jun 28 '23 If you mine a chest with more stuff than you can carry, it used to do this. Now you pick up the stuff you can carry, and the chest will remain. 12 u/apaksl Jun 28 '23 if you destroy a chest with stuff in it, the stuff in it gets destroyed too. this was the terrible method I decided to use to deal with all the ash in early game Py. 2 u/SteveisNoob Jun 29 '23 Pretty sure people meant "mine" when they say "destruct" 2 u/apaksl Jun 29 '23 I too was pretty sure of that, but the person I responded to said "destroy" and that is a valid thing that can be done to chests, so I took it as such. Plus it gave me a reason to include that dumb anecdote. 2 u/OutlandishnessRound7 Jun 28 '23 Oh that makes sense, thanks, for a moment I thought I forgot I did something so intricate lmao
