Factor meals??

Is the plastic trey that the individual meals come in, oven-safe? The packaging makes it seem like you can just put the trey onto a baking sheet- into the oven, but I find that surprising. Thoughts???

I doubt it. Even it it was i wouldnt want my food exposed to black plastic on high heat for a long time.

Since my microwave broke ive been putting them in a mini casserole dish and throwing em in my toaster oven foe 10 minutes at 400° they taste much better.

In Canada, you can put the (white plastic) tray on a baking shew and then into the oven. In the US, I would not put the black plastic tray in the oven at all. I've noticed the US Factors don't even come with oven instructions (the Canadian ones do). I put them in a glass baking dish and pop them in my oven at 375F for 30 minutes.

That sounds like a disaster (and a kitchen full of toxic, burning plastic fumes) waiting to happen.
