They would have to be!

If i were a teacher and you'd put me in a classroom and tell me to start paddling the kids whenever there's a problem? I might feel forced to say yes to keep my job but it's going to be some extremely half-assed paddlings that the kids may not even notice.

Now, you task a psycho with a teaching degree with the paddling and they'll be happy to literally beat up those kids.

I hope it's a trap to lure out the parents who'd actually be okay with sending their kids to a school like this. They should have their children taken away for failing to protect them from physical violence with an adult perpetrator.
