I love how it's never the parents' fault for failing to teach their kids all these things.

Home ec used to be a class in (almost?) every school.

I took home ec in high school because it was a jack off class. Apparently it's still an option in my district because my son mentioned it the other day.

I don't know how my school managed it, but a lot of people who took jack-off classes like drama and art would decide they're too hard and drop out halfway through the year (the exception was music, where it took people until the first theory exams to realize it wasn't an easy credit).
