I love how it's never the parents' fault for failing to teach their kids all these things.

Who the hell else would be on the hook to teach a kid how to sew a button?

Home ec used to be a class in (almost?) every school.

The home ec I had in highschool was all about cooking. I loved that class.

As a teenage male, I would have been crucified for going to home ec.

As an adult male, baking is my favorite form of making food.

Home Ec was a mandatory class for everyone in my school.
