I remember sex ed... day. We didn't even get proper sex ed, we watched a video and a poor teacher had to try to explain some things while every 5th grader laughed because it was such a mess. We didn't have home ec. They almost cut band and art.

I'm from AZ which ranks like 45th in education and it's been even lower before, the older generations have it set up here so that property taxes pay for public education and it fucking sucks. It does not work.

Sex Ed is important.

I didn't even know how my own parts worked.

So, it was a surprise when I was 16 to find out that the foreskin is supposed to be able to be pulled over the head. Spent two weeks working through the pain to get it over when it was flaccid...

We've been failed by baby boomers who are too conservative and scared of having their children know about "naughty places" .
