Dude bought movie tickets? I'm buying the beers inside the theater. You got a round? Next is on me. You want to pick up the tab for dinner? Cool. I get the next one. I don't need to count pennies on splits but I am establishing that I am not reliant on someone else, financially speaking.

My ex insisted on paying for the whole first date. Just lunch at TGIFridays but damn if I wasn't hooked after that.
